The former head of Navalny’s headquarters in Ufa, Lilia Chernysheva, was convicted of participating in an extremist community under Art. 282.1 part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

In June 2022, opposition leader Ilya Yashin was arrested. In December 2022, Ilya Yashin was sentenced to 8.5 years in prison under a new criminal article “about fakes” for his publications on Yotube about the atrocities of Russian soldiers in Bucha.
