Ilya Yashin was arrested while walking in the park tonight. This was reported by journalist Irina Babloyan.
Ilya Yashin is a Russian opposition politician, chairman of the Council of Deputies of the Krasnoselsky municipal district in Moscow. Ilya Yashin actively criticized Putin, the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov and other representatives of the authorities in Russia, opposed the war in Ukraine.
According to Irina Babloyan, Ilya Yashin was taken to the Luzhniki Police Department, he is charged with an administrative violation under Art. 19.3 of the Administrative Code of the Russian Federation “Disobedience to a police officer”.
