Prigozhin was returned the money and valuables seized during the search

Shortly after the start of the armed rebellion, a large amount of money, gold bars, weapons, computer equipment and fake passports were seized from the offices of Yevgeny Prigozhin. The Ministry of Internal Affairs returns all these things to Prigogine.

In addition to money and gold bars, a minibus was parked near Prigozhin’s office in St. Petersburg, in which boxes of cash were found, about 4 billion rubles($44.444.444), and in the underground parking another minivan was found in which another 6 billion ($66.666.666) were found.

According to Prigozhin, this money was intended to pay salaries to mercenaries and compensate relatives for the dead soldiers of the Wagner PMC.

Now all these valuables will have to be returned ‘due to force majeure circumstances’. For this purpose, Prigogine sent his personal driver to Moscow, for whom a power of attorney was issued.
