Municipal Deputy sentenced to 7 years in prison ‘for spreading fakes about the army’
Deputy Alexei Gorinov at a meeting of the Krasnoselsky municipal district said that it is impossible to hold a district holiday during the war with Ukraine.
Soon Gorinov was arrested and taken into custody. Today, the judge of the Meshchansky City Court of Moscow Olesya Mendeleeva sentenced Alexei Gorinov to 7 years in prison under Art. 207.3 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Public dissemination of knowingly false information about the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, the performance by state bodies of the Russian Federation of their powers.”
Social media is outraged by such a cruel sentence.
