Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation: Drones with infected combat mosquitoes

With a serious face, Lieutenant General of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the RF Armed Forces, Igor Kirillov, says that the United States is ready to use insects infected with West Nile fever and malaria in the flood zone of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station. According to the general, drones will be used for this purpose. The general refers to a US patent:

The high technical level of US preparedness for the use of infected vectors is evidenced by the patent for an unmanned aerial vehicle designed to spread infected mosquitoes in the air, which we discussed earlier.

General Kirillov does not specify how mosquitoes would choose between Russian and Ukrainian soldiers during such a biological attack. It must be assumed that either mosquitoes in military laboratories were taught to separate their army from the enemy army, or the general has serious mental health problems.
