During the hostilities, the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station was blown up

The police and emergency services of the Kherson region have been alerted, an urgent evacuation is underway.

In the flood zone of the right-bank part of the Dnieper River, the villages of Nikolaevka, Olgovka, Levo, Tyaginka, Ponyatovka, Ivanovka, Tokarevka, Ponyatovka, Pridneprovskoye, Sadovoe and partly the city of Kherson – Ship Island are subject to evacuation.

At the moment, it is not yet known who blew up the dam, but with a high probability the Russian troops did it to prevent the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
