ROC breaks off relations with Constantinople
The Russian Orthodox Church breaks off relations with the Patriarchate of Constantinople. This is the response of the Moscow Patriarchate to the imminent granting of autocephaly to Ukraine.
The sanctions list includes 351 State Duma deputies, 24 individuals, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, the head of the RT television channel Margarita Simonyan, TV presenter Vladimir Solovyov.
The list was supplemented by three more Russian banks Vnesheconombank and Promsvyazbank, including Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Head of the Presidential Administration Anton Vaino, State Duma Vice-Speaker Pyotr Tolstoy.
Vladimir Solovyov was one of the first to speak out about personal consultations and accused Europe of anti-Semitism:
Is this the first time that civilized Europe imposes sanctions against Jews, including against property? What, what, and Jews are no strangers to such an attitude.
