In 2014, Igor Strelkov, real name Igor Ivanovich Girkin, created, thanks to organizational talents, armed resistance in the Donbass. It was through the efforts of Strelkov that an army was organized in the DPR, later the People’s Militia of the DPR.

It was Strelkov-Girkin who started the fire of the war in the Donbass, which earned him hatred from the Ukrainians.

Subsequently, Igor Strelkov-Girkin was removed from the post of Minister of Defense of the DPR and went to Russia, where he criticized Putin’s policies, and with the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and top generals, accusing them of negligence and inability to conduct military operations.

UPD: UPD: Igor Girkin was detained with a fake passport in the name of Sergey Rudny, which he was given during his service in the FSB of the Russian Federation.
