In Irkutsk, police killed a taxi passenger

“Hit, and he died”: in Irkutsk, the police killed a taxi passenger, who tried to wake up with a stun gun.

The incident occurred on the night of February 15. The taxi driver could not wake up the drunken Dmitry Kharchenko, who was being driven from a nightclub, and asked for help from a passing PPS outfit. Police officers decided not to be ceremonial and hit the passenger with a shocker. A 24-year-old man died of heart failure on the spot. The employees who killed the guy have already been fired.

The ICR initiated a case of abuse of power, committed with the use of special means, causing serious consequences. Ex-policemen were arrested.
