Russia will pay 50 billion to former shareholders of Yukos

The Hague Court of Appeal has ordered the payment of $50 billion to former Yukos shareholders.

Russia will pay this amount from the state budget. A simple calculation shows that every Russian citizen, including pensioners and infants, will pay a little more than 21,000 rubles.

Recall that the assets of Yukos came under the control of circles close to Putin.
