Zelensky’s adviser sarcastically commented on the situation in the Belgorod region

Mikhail Podolyak on Twitter commented on the situation in the Belgorod region of Russia after the invasion of the SRG Legion ‘Freedom of Russia’ and the Russian Volunteer Corps:

The only driving force in a totalitarian country of screwed-ups always inevitably becomes a guerrilla movement with weapons in their hands. Ukraine is watching with interest the events in the Belgorod region of Russia and is studying the situation, but has no direct relation to it. As you know, tanks are sold in any Russian military store, and underground partisan detachments still consist of Russian citizens.

Podolyak is transparently alluding to how in 2014 the Russian media published reports that pro-Russian separatists in the Donbas had bought weapons, including tanks.
At the same time, the fighters of the Legion of Freedom of Russia and the Russian Volunteer Corps are armed and trained in Ukraine and use Ukrainian weapons.
