Ukraine became a candidate for EU membership
Today, by a majority vote, the European Parliament approved Ukraine’s accession to the European Community.
Volodymyr Zelensky, the president of Ukraine, said on this occasion:
We’ve been waiting for this for 120 days and 30 years.
Ukraine has taken another step towards European integration, there is no doubt that after the end of the war with Russia , Ukraine will become a worthy member of the European Community.
