In anticipation of the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the authorities of Kherson announced the evacuation of residents of four municipalities of the city and the city administration to the left bank of the Dnieper.
This was stated by the head of the occupation administration Vladimir Saldo.
The Russian military fears that the Armed Forces of Ukraine may blow up the dam of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station, which will lead to the spill of the Dnieper.
At the same time, the commander of the grouping of Russian troops in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, said:
Further actions in relation to Kherson will depend on the emerging military-tactical situation, it is not easy, and difficult decisions cannot be ruled out.
