Russia has requested military assistance from China

Russia has requested military equipment from China to support its invasion of Ukraine, raising concerns from the White House.

The United States warns that it is ready to warn China about the possible negative consequences of Military Assistance to Russia.

U.S. officials have said there are signs that Russia is running out of some weapons as the war in Ukraine continues for three weeks.

At the same time, the official representative of the Chinese Embassy in Washington, Liu Pennyui, said that he was not aware of any suggestions that China might be ready to help Russia:

China is deeply concerned and saddened by the situation in Ukraine. We sincerely hope that the situation will improve and peace will return as soon as possible.

Military advisers in Washington say the rapprochement between Russia and China in recent months has been prompted by Beijing’s concern about possible chaos on China’s northern border in the event of the fall of the Putin regime.
