The first day of the war
February 24 is the first day of the war. This is not Russia's declared war against Ukraine. It is a war that cannot be called a war, but only a 'special operation'.
After Putin announced a partial mobilization, a wave of protests swept across Russian cities.
In most cases, these are young people of military age, but the expected mass demonstrations were not observed today.
Protest actions took place in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk and other Russian cities. During the protests, more than 1,000 people were detained, some were injured and beaten by police.
