China has found alternative routes for sending goods bypassing Russia

The Russian edition of the Libertarian Party SVTV published a tweet in which there is a fragment of an interview with the governor of the Kaliningrad region Anton Alikhanov in which he spoke about the impossibility of completely closing the borders between the Kaliningrad region (the enclave of Russia, the former East Prussia) and the countries of Europe.

The closure of railway transport [with the Kaliningrad region of the Russian Federation] is a complete ban on transit from the countries of Southeast Asia and China.

SVTV emphasized:

This idea is stated logically and seemed indisputable exactly until the moment when it was voiced by a Putin official.

The main supply routes from China to Europe really passed through the territory of Russia, Ukraine and to a large extent through the Kaliningrad region.

Because of the war between Russia and Ukraine, the transit of Chinese goods through Ukraine has become impossible. At the same time, Chinese logistics companies could fall under the sanctions of the United States and the European Union because of cooperation with Russian companies.

As a preventive measure, Chinese companies have developed an alternative route for the delivery of goods from China to Europe through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Romania, Hungary, Slovakia and the Czech Republic, crossing the Caspian and Black Seas using combined rail and sea transport.

Thus, at the moment, nothing prevents the complete closure of the borders of the European Union in Latvia and Estonia in order to completely cut off the Kaliningrad region from the rest of Russia.
