AFU failed the operation to encircle the Russian troops in Vysokopolye

The group of Russian troops who were surrounded in the area of ​​the village of Vysokopole managed to break through the blockade ring and withdraw part of the troops for reorganization.

Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the President of Ukraine Zelensky, named several reasons for the failure of the tactical encirclement operation:

1. Russia launched a comprehensive missile and artillery strike, as a result of which some units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were demoralized and refused to carry out offensive operations.
2. The command on the ground unsuccessfully used heterogeneous military units.
3. The senior military leadership did not transfer reserves to the zone of the encirclement operation.
4. Insufficient numerical superiority of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
