In the Saratov region, a deputy from the Communist Party of the Russian Federation Valery Rashkin was detained with a moose carcass in the trunk. The deputy drove a Lada Largus car belonging to the local branch of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, and in appearance was not very sober. Rashkin refused to undergo a medical examination for alcohol.

Valery Rashkin and his companion Alexander Gnoshev were detained in the hunting ground of the Lysogorsk district.

Valery Rashkin himself says that he was just walking in the forest, saw some people, and when he approached them, they disappeared. On the spot, he found the carcass of a moose, which, together with his friend Andrei Gnoshev, he loaded into a car.

There were no weapons with the detainees, but the police the next day found two hunting rifles with a thermal imaging sight, a permit for weapons and a hunting ticket in the name of Valery Rashkin.

A criminal case was initiated under Art. 258 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Illegal hunting”.
