Russian plane bombed Belgorod

During a flight over the city, a Russian Su-34 aircraft dropped an aerial bomb on Belgorod. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, ‘there was an abnormal drop of ammunition’.

A crater 40 meters in diameter formed at the site of the explosion, a woman was injured, she was taken to the hospital with a head injury. Four cars were damaged, one car was thrown onto the roof of a nearby store by an explosion.

Residents of a multi-storey building next to which the explosion occurred were evacuated, the building itself was damaged.

The Russian city of Belgorod is located 40 km from the border with Ukraine.
