Police stopped the insulation of statues

The police of St. Petersburg stopped the insulation of statues with mittens. Three people were detained.

The men explained that they put mittens on the statues installed on the Anichkov Bridge so that they did not freeze.

According to eyewitnesses, two people insulated the sculptures, and the third filmed what was happening on video.

Now they have to give explanations to the police. Before that, these same people insulated the statues of the Dioscuri at the Horse Guards Arena.

Now compassionate Residents of St. Petersburg face charges under Art. 214 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Vandalism”.
