A man found radioactive cobalt in his summer cottage
Several flasks with the inscription ‘Radioactive cobalt’ were found by a man at his site near St. Petersburg.
The man called the police, after which a mobile radiochemical laboratory of the emergency rescue service of the Leningrad Region was sent to the place of discovery.
It is not yet known where the containers with radioactive material came from, but the man urgently left the summer cottage.
