Russian media published news about the retreat of the Russian army
A strange situation has occurred in the Russian media. First, leading media outlets published information about the ‘regrouping’ of Russian troops, and then they deleted it, calling it a provocation.
Russian news agencies TASS and RIA Novosti published the following information:
Having assessed the current situation, the command of the Dnepr group decided to transfer troops to more advantageous positions from the Dnieper, reports the Russian Ministry of Defense.
After the regrouping, Dnepr will release part of the forces that will be used for an offensive in other directions, the Ministry noted.

As we know, reports of ‘regrouping’ and ‘difficult decisions’ indicate that the Russian army has suffered a fiasco in this area of combat operations.
At the same time, Ukrainian media and military observers claim that in mid-October the AFU captured and successfully held a bridgehead on the left bank of the Dnieper, which is confirmed by ISW.
