Maria Alyokhina, a member of the infamous Pussy Riot project, escaped from house arrest in the form of a Delivery Club courier.

A so-called ‘sanitary case’ was initiated against Alekhina. The girl called for participation in protests during the Covid-19 epidemic when there were restrictions on mass events in Moscow.

Alyokhina was sentenced to 1 year of restriction of liberty and subjected to house arrest.

On April 8, Alyokhina cut off the tracking bracelet installed by the Federal Penitentiary Service. This is a malicious violation of the regime and Alyokhina threatened to replace the suspended sentence with a real one.

Thanks to the efforts of her friend the artist Ragnar Kjartansson, Alekhina managed to obtain a visa from one of the European states.

The girl changed into the uniform of a Delivery Club courier, and her friend took her to the Belarusian border, which Alyokhina crossed with a Russian passport.

A few days later, and only on the third attempt, Alyokhina managed to get to Lithuania, where she is now.
