After that, Marina Ovsyannikova was charged with an administrative offense and sentenced to a fine of 30,000 rubles ($ 367). She also faces prosecution under the new articles of the Criminal Code of Russia “For discrediting the Armed Forces”.

Die Welt publisher Axel Springer has revealed that Marina Ovsyannikova will work as a freelance correspondent for German media brand Axel Springer WELT.

She will write for the newspaper and also regularly participate in the news of the WELT television channel.
