Aleksey Zhuravlev ‘the Turtlefucker’ threatened to kill a German journalist of the Bild TV channel who was broadcasting from Ukraine on the air.
After the death of politician Vladimir Zhirinovsky, the place of the court clown is confidently taken by the leader of the Rodina party, Alexei Zhuravlev.
On the air of the Russia 1 TV channel, Zhuravlev said:
I want to tell this Nazi: we will all come and kill you all!
Shortly after the broadcast went on the air, its presenter Evgeny Popov had to make excuses and justify Zhuravlev:
In my opinion, Alexei Zhuravlev did not wish death on German propagandists, but on foreign mercenaries, at least I would like it to be so. We talked to him after that, and I asked him not to make death threats on my program ever again. I understand the high emotional intensity of Alexei Alexandrovich, because he regularly travels to the front. Of course, it is very sad that emotions reach unthinkable limits.
Zhuravlev is a frequent guest in Russian political shows. He got his nickname ‘the Turtlefucker’ after he spoke live about a brothel in Denmark for zoophiles where, according to Zhuravlev, ‘you can come and rape a turtle’.
With the beginning of the military invasion of Ukraine, the degree of inadequacy of the the Turtlefucker intensified. So in early May of this year, Zhuravlev announced his intention to destroy 2 million Ukrainians.
